This Tuesday I joined a few curly girls for the Dinner with Curlfriends event hosted by natural hair website Kinky Curly Coily Me (KCCM). KCCM author and founder, Jenell Stewart, coordinated a night filled with dinner, drinks, games and giveaways for naturals and natural interests in an effort to create a environment of learning and a little fun for those with waves kinks and coils. Laughs and good conversation were shared as attendees chatted it up about ....what else, hair. Transitioners, newly and long naturals were also treated to a quick hair workshop from representatives from Design Essentials. Each lady walked away with a goodie bag that included some hair goods from Curls, Design Essentials, Simply Smooth and Ampro. If your in the New York City area and you missed this event do not fret.
